WHO CAN APPLY?

Are you eligible for the Program? Here's what you need to know.

  1. Membership Requirement:
    • You must be a deserving member or a child, grandchild, or niece/nephew of a PHCCI Members in Good Standing (MIGS).
    • You must live with the PHCCI member.
  2. Income Requirement:
    • Your parent/guardian or the PHCCI member must have an annual income of ₱240,000 or less.
  3. Priority Applicants:
    • Preference is given to families with more than three students enrolled at the same time.
What are the Academic Requirements?
  • Senior high school graduates with a grade average of at least 85%.
  • College freshmen or continuing students must have a Quality Point Average (QPA) of 85% or equivalent, with no failing grades.
  • Age Requirement:
    • Students must be under 25 years old.
    • No age limit for members pursuing their first course.
  • Applicants must be physically fit and of good moral character.
What Are the Benefits of the Scholarship?
  • Private Colleges/Universities: Up to ₱25,000 per semester (₱50,000 per year).
  • State Colleges/Universities: ₱10,000 allowance per semester (₱20,000 per year) for books, uniforms, and other expenses.
What is Required from the Scholar?
  • Grade Requirement: Maintain a QPA of 85% or its equivalent.
  • Active Participation: You must remain an active member of the PHCCI Youth Organization.
  • Post-Graduation Requirement: Complete a two-year service at PHCCI (if required).

Classification of Worker and Corresponding Proof of Income

Submit ONLY ONE COPY(1) of the required document based on your worker classification. View the Classification of Worker list for more details.

Documents to Prepare Prior to Filing Scholarship Application

Make sure to have all the necessary documents ready before submitting your application. Failure to complete your forms correctly may disqualify you from the PHCCI Scholarship Program, so please be careful and follow these steps:

Process All Required Documents:
Make sure you complete all forms and gather all necessary documents.
Scanning or Photographing Forms:
Scan or take a clear picture of each form you’ve completed and save each file properly.
File Naming:
Name each file as: (Surname-Document Name) when saving (e.g., "Santos-ApplicationForm").
Uploading Documents:
Submit each form through the Upload Module in the Application System.
Check Uploaded Files:
Ensure that all uploaded files are correct, complete, and viewable.
Files that cannot be viewed will be considered corrupted and may lead to disqualification.

3 Certificate of Residency/ Barangay Clearance
4 Form 138 (Report Card)
5 Applicant’s Recent Picture (5.08 cm x 5.08 cm or 2 inches x 2 inches)
Face Visibility:
The photo must clearly show your face, covering at least 80% of the picture.
Photo Quality:
The name tag should be placed about 1 inch (2.54 cm below your chin).
Write your full name (First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name, and Extension Name, if any) in handwriting (e.g., JUAN C. DELA CRUZ, JR.).
Recent Photo:
The photo must have been taken within the last three (3) months before applying.
6 Parent/s or Legal Guardian's Income Tax Return / BIR Form 1701 / Employment Contract for OFW / BIR Certificate of Exemption from Filing of ITR / Certificate of Indigency / Certificate of Employment with Compensation / Proof of Pension
Clear and Signed Copy:
Ensure the document is clear and signed.
Income Details:
The Annual Gross Income must be clearly stated in the document.
Document Type:
The specific document required will depend on the parent's class of worker.
7 Notarized Affidavit of Guardianship
Guardian Support Document:
This document must be submitted if the applicant is being supported by a guardian (not the parents).
