Frequently Asked Questions

The scholarship is open to PHCCI Members in Good Standing (MIGS) or their children, grandchildren, or niece/nephew who live with them. Applicants must be under 25 years old (no age limit for PHCCI members), have a minimum grade average of 85%, and their family's annual income must not exceed ₱240,000.00.

The scholarship provides:

  • Private Colleges/Universities: Up to ₱25,000.00 per semester (₱50,000.00 per school year)
  • State Colleges/Universities: ₱10,000.00 allowance per semester (₱20,000.00 per school year)

Essential documents include:

  • Application letter to the CEO
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • Certificate of Residency/Barangay Clearance
  • Form 138 (Report Card)
  • Recent 2x2 picture
  • Parent's/Guardian's Income Tax documents
  • Additional documents may be required depending on your situation (e.g., Affidavit of Guardianship)

Applications must be submitted through the Online Application System. Each document should be scanned or photographed clearly and saved with the filename format: Surname-Document Name (e.g., "Santos-ApplicationForm"). Ensure all files are viewable in the system to avoid disqualification.

To maintain the eligibility for the scholarship, recipients must:

  • Maintain a QPA of 85%.
  • Have no grade below 80% in any subject.
  • Be active members of the PHCCI Youth Organization.
  • Fulfill a two-year service requirement at PHCCI post-graduation (if required).
  • Maintain Members in Good Standing (MIGS) status if the scholar is the PHCCI Member.
  • Ensure the Parent/Guardian maintains MIGS Status if the scholarship is through them.
